Notability

[edit]

This game is considered to be an excellent example of an amateur doujin shmup. It has a distinctive design due to its focus on having only boss battles, and having bosses that adapt to your play style over time, and hence increasing in difficulty. This type of adaptive gameplay is very unusual in videogames broadly, and is extremely rare in shmups. For external corroboration, see Doujin Shmups: An Introduction and Independent Gaming: Warning Forever JimWhiteheadUCSC (talk) 19:29, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Deletion

[edit]

I removed the deletion tag because no one attempted to discuss it over here. I hope I was doing the right thing.Matt Traywick 01:12, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Game guide?

[edit]

A lot of this feels like a game guide. I don't know what precedent there is for this as it's all useful information. Any thoughts? -- Richard Thomas 16:35, 4 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think you're right... but it IS useful. One part I have wanted to get rid of, though, is the 'unlocking specific transformations' section. It's redundant now, and removing that would make the article rather less like a guide. Spottedowl 18:08, 4 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
I got rid of that part

Armor Dispute

[edit]

Recently, I've been trying to get armor through the method shown in this wiki. Armor turned out to be very rare, and I noticed that most of times I got armor was when I went melee with the boss. Attacking close to the boss seems to result in armor for me. I want this clearer. Andrelius 02:12, 5 July 2007 (UTC)AndreliusReply

Battleships Forever

[edit]

Removed this section due to no references. The two games use completely different graphics as well, causing the section to be unnecessary.

It seems that this has been added back! :-P --Karjam (talk) 10:21, 16 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

It's just a plug for Battleships forever, the only thing they share is graphical styling. When BattleShips Forever started I was fine with it but since it's now taken off and under its own power I'll remove it in a few days unless theres objections.
