Observatory location
[edit]The map shows the location of the old observatory near the corner of East Avenue and Meigs St. Where does this information come from? There is no mention in the text of the exact location or the source of information about same. The statement quoted from Lewis Swift that the observatory is located "about one-third of a mile south of the University of Rochester" would place it miles to the south, near the hospital -- what was he talking about? Was the U of R formerly situated downtown? If no clear documentation is provided, I move to delete the map that purports to show the location. 38.49.92.20 (talk) 09:37, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
