Drying from the edges
[edit]If I understood well, drying from the edges would cause the paper to end up with bubbles inside, and that's avoided by first putting the paste in the paper instead of putting the paper dry in the wall. Now, I don't see how putting the paste first in the paper would prevent the paste from drying first from the edges.
