Etymology for Wadjmose?

[edit]

If available, can we add an etymology – or etymologies – for the name Wadjmose? Thank you! Misty MH (talk) 00:13, 25 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

The word is misspelled. M14 as Wadj comes from the word/Goddess Wadjet. M14-M17-M17-X1-H8-B7C:
M14M17M17X1H8B7C
The problem here is the egg - coptic soouhe. This cobra goddess is kds, or Qadesh, not Wadjet. If M14 is kd instead of Wadj, then his name is Kadmose.
M14 = M13-Papyrus Stem(Coptic ka) + I10-snake(Amarigna ato) 150.195.202.3 (talk) 13:55, 25 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
