Contested deletion

I contest speedy deletion here. WP:A7 is not met — partnership with Volvo and collaboration in Volvo VNL truck launch is sufficient to prove notability. Additionally, WP:G11 is not met in my mind — this article doesn't fit the criteria for blatant advertising, giving a relatively objective overview without encouraging sales of specific products. The article could use some rewriting to be written from a more NPOV, but does not seem like a good fit for deletion. --Doawk7 (talk) 03:53, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

@MediaKyle: I saw that you reverted my removal of the speedy deletion tag.

Per WP:CSDCONTEST: If an editor other than the creator removes a speedy deletion tag in good faith, it should be taken as a sign that the deletion is controversial and another deletion process should be used.

My removal of the tag was a good-faith contestation (see prior message for reasons). Even if we disagree on whether the article meets deletion policy, the lack of consensus here invalidates the SD process.

If you still believe the article should be deleted, the correct procedure is instead to reach consensus here or nominate it for WP:AfD.

@MediaKyle I have declined the speedy. As @Doawk7 correctly points out, whenever a user other than the page creator removes a speedy tag, speedy deletion is no longer appropriate.
