Assuming they are notable, that's fine but generally a list of college radio station alumni isn't exactly appropriate for wikipedia. This information would be more appropriate on the station's website.--Rtphokie (talk) 13:18, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

1961 changed to 1969 as air date

There is no source confirming WVTC-AM began "broadcasting" in 1961. For over-the-air broadcasting an FCC license was required from at least 1948 forward, even for low wattage stations. Carrier current stations did not need a license since they did not broadcast — transmit a signal over the air. Thus, the station's First Air Date should be 1969 when WVTC-FM was licensed. I am changing the year with a note in the Edit Summary to see Talk. Allreet (talk) 17:38, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
