New England Comparisons in the Article

[edit]

What does "being the oldest or ONLY in New England" have to do with the station? What does New England have to do with this at all? WTNH is in CT and is not a New England station.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.235.81.39 (talk) 20:14, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

it isn't a new england station, and it does not say that. it simply says it is one of the oldest IN new england, as it is. that's all that was referring to.Kmccusker2 06:16, 15 March 2007 (UTC)—Preceding unsigned comment added by Kmccusker2 (talkcontribs)

Why referrence New Engand at all? It may come as a shock to you, but that part of CT does not car about New Englandf or views itself from that perspective. It seems like yet another viral insertion of New England/Boston propaganda. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.28.93.188 (talk) 23:23, 10 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Weither or not some people in CT care or not about being in New England, does not matter. This is a website of facts, and the FACT is officially Connecticut is one of the six new england states. Personal opinions DO NOT MATTER in this case. WTNH is one of the oldest stations IN NEW ENGLAND, because it is IN CONNECTICUT, one of the SIX NEW ENGLAND states.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.228.148.235 (talk) 08:37, 8 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Logo wtnh.gif

[edit]

Image:Logo wtnh.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:26, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in WTNH

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of WTNH's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 23:22, 20 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
