The result of the move request was: Moved. ~ Jenson (SilverLocust 💬) 05:52, 24 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

– The call signs of these stations have all changed since their respective format flips on December 11. The page for the former WPZS was already moved to what is now WLNK-FM with no apparent issues. Also, each page has already been edited to include their new call signs in the article itself along with a note at the top referencing the previous station that used the corresponding call sign. mcy919 (talk) 01:13, 17 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

What happens to WLNK? Even if it is a redirect, there is another station using the WLNK letters.— Vchimpanzee  talk contributions 18:09, 17 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
There could be a disambiguation page that lists the current WLNK-FM on 100.9 and the former WLNK on 107.9 that is now WBT-FM. mcy919 (talk) 18:58, 17 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Would that page be called WLNK?— Vchimpanzee  talk contributions 20:16, 17 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Yes. They have pages for WBT and WFNZ that serve the same purpose. mcy919 (talk) 23:55, 17 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
This may not require a full disambiguation page, just a hat note using the FOR template. -TG 16:35, 19 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
I'm trying to figure out what the WLNK article would be. Also, there are now three articles that have had the title WBT or WBT-FM, and there is fourth item on the disambiguation page.— Vchimpanzee  talk contributions 17:35, 19 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
I would either do the disambiguation page or just have it redirect to WLNK-FM on 100.9. mcy919 (talk) 00:05, 20 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Since the call sign was modified from WLNK to WLNK-FM when the Mix format moved to 100.9, I would do a disambiguation page on WLNK and list 100.9 first followed by 107.9. mcy919 (talk) 00:13, 20 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
We also need logos. I asked someone who helped me in the past here. No response yt but the person seems willing to upload them. I tried but never get the button to let me click on it.— Vchimpanzee  talk contributions 19:46, 20 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
I'd redirect with a hatnote on WLNK. @Mcy919 and @Vchimpanzee, are you wanting this move set to be done now? This is a chain move that is more RM/TR than full RM. It just needs a page mover. Scenarios like this are why I have page mover permissions. Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c) 02:52, 23 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:WFNZ.jpg

[edit]

Image:WFNZ.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Trivia

[edit]

I've tagged this article as having two trivia sections. The list of personalities goes far beyond what's usually mentioned in Wikipedia articles on broadcast stations. Off-air personnel usually aren't mentioned, and there's more description of the on-air people than is usually found in these articles. And the whole QCB section is unencyclopedic trivia.
