Under History, add:
WAZE was founded in 1959 by Charles Adams and Gene Robinson in a corner of the Gray Moss Inn in Clearwater, FL. The format was easy listening. From 1970-1973, the station booked live jazz at Fort Harrison Hotel. Live acts included Harry James, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Stan Kenton. The station was sold in 1976.
