Why are the genes named WDR.. (R=Repeat?). - WDR45 says "WD repeats are minimally conserved regions of approximately 40 amino acids typically bracketed by gly-his and trp-asp (GH-WD)" - Is that where the WD comes from ? - Rod57 (talk) 11:52, 17 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
