While not being dutch, I find it strange that when searching for vrouwekerk wikipedia refers to this article, seeing as there also a vrouwekerk in Maastricht and probably in other cities of Holland (which are still standing!). Those are actually called Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk, not Vrouwekerk. As this article explains, the original name of this church was also Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk but it was shortened to Vrouwekerk following the Reformation because Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk was considered too Catholic-sounding.
