Removal of 'Russian-specific' meanings

[edit]

Why was most of this article gutted last year? It had important info on the use of the word in Russian/Soviet historical context and its removal has made the article more of a stub. 2603:7080:A33A:B79F:A4D4:60C1:D3E0:3F2B (talk) 22:57, 3 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Because there is nothing special for its usage in Russian: it literally means "leader". This is English-language encyclopedia. So, Stalin was the "Leader of proletariat", not "Vozhd of the proletariat", i.e., there is no special meaning in calling Stalin 'vozhd" in Russian language. And so on. --Altenmann >talk 01:18, 4 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
