I think this platform is more correctly called the PL71 platform. "7L" is, of course, the typ number for the Touareg, and Volkswagen Group generally don't use the same codes for typ numbers and platforms. I've found a few web references for the use of "PL71": . I suggest renaming this article accordingly. Letdorf (talk) 13:35, 21 July 2009 (UTC).Reply
