What is the catalog number of the ring shaped galaxy in Volans which is nicknamed Das Rheingold (aka Nibelungen Ring and Graham's Object) in Hugh C. Maddocks's handy booklet DEEP-SKY NAME INDEX 2000.0 ? (this object is also briefly mentioned in SKY CATALOGUE 2000.0, Volume 2: Double Stars, Variable Stars and Nonstellar Objects). The coordinates of this object are: R.A. 6h 41.4m / Decl. -74° 19' (2000.0). What is known about this ring shaped galaxy? I try to find online info, but... nothing.
