I first saw this process mentioned by Helmut Gernsheim who said that its inventor, Dr D. A. Spencer, was the only professional colour photographer in the UK prior to WWII. However it seems he was mistaken since Yevonde Middleton was also working with this process. Anyone know of more info about UK colour photography during this period? - I know a fair amount. There were many professional photographers using colour photography before WWII, for example Olive M Edis (who used the Autochrome process. The Dover Street Studios were using the Polychromide process before WWI. Itreallyisme (talk) 18:31, 25 May 2026 (UTC)
Vivex repeating back
[edit]Is it worth mentioning that Vives produced their own repeating back? Shall I include images of Vivex prints and trade labels? Itreallyisme (talk) 18:57, 25 May 2026 (UTC)
