Additions
[edit]It would be nice to add sections about calibration, data-centric processing/routing/storage, and high-level services and querying, all of which are active research topics. Also, some more background about multicamera 3D computer vision would probably be helpful, maybe a short paragraph with a bunch of links to other articles with further information about it.
