the virtual keyboard is not only software, but also a laser projected keyboard

Isn't it projected keyboard? I'm removing the links to commercial sites about projected keyboard, as they are irrelevant.

other arrangements of keys

[edit]

I've seen PDA software that shows little pictures of letters that one pokes at with a stylus, but the overall picture looks very different from a QWERTY or Dvorak keyboard. Should this virtual keyboard article talk about those kinds of "keyboards", or is there some other article that discusses them? (If there is some other article, please link this article to it).

A few examples of the kinds of PDA software I'm talking about:

virtual keyboard

[edit]

the virtual keyboard is a keyboard made out of light. it is not on-screen but it can be connected to a PDA and hand-helds etc. it provides a keyboard when it is hard to type on the one you have 12.179.194.81 19:25, 20 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

POV

[edit]

I just merged On-screen keyboard to virtual keyboard. In the process I noticed that virtual keyboard (this article) is tagged with POV. What exactly is the POV issue here? Is it that someone believes projection keyboards should be discussed here? There are multiple ways to solve that issue. One solution in that both kinds of keyboards could be discussed here briefly, but that the users are referred to separate articles for further details. On-screen keyboard

[edit]

Merging Virtual keyboard with On-screen keyboard had the unfortunate consequence that the importance for accessibility was seriously downplayed. The new section "External links" refers to sources that I plan to use for a new section on accessibility. --ChristopheS (talk) 19:12, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

User data leaks

[edit]

Software virtual keyboards have leaked user data, perhaps worth adding to the Security section:
