Is it a "thing"?

[edit]

I see only one of the 4 references which mentions the term, and are not advertising copy. The 1 reference suggests this term has some leverage, but that article doesn't match either the definition I complained about or the new, completely unrelated, definition. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 09:24, 21 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Virtual engagement. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Digital Engagement vs Virtual Engagement

[edit]

I'm seeing the term digital engagement more commonly used online, I think by definition virtual engagement would be a subset of digital engagement but it might we worth moving the article name as an online search for "Virtual Engagement" return very few results. Change to redirect?

[edit]

This very much seems like it should be a chapter, if not offhanded mention on the article for online advertising, which arguably this is a synonym for, though that argument will never end as the page doesn't even explain what virtual engagement is, though glancing through the article makes it seem like it's vaguely describing just the social media aspect of online advertising, which obviously should not constitute its own article. What does engagement mean?

[edit]

This article is terrible. Is it engagement if I click on the site? Or do I have leave a comment? Or do I have look at a product? Or click some other link? The article is totally useless without discussing this. editeur24 (talk) 19:03, 28 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
