How exactly did they test that, I wonder? Could it be that it's just a bunch of speculation, at best, more likely outright "advertising ploy" (read: "Lies")? Ram air effect is something that carmakers have been claiming since the 60's, but rarely offering any proof. It's all well and good theoretically, but actually designing an intake tract, air filter, manifold, that would make the kind of gains they like to claim is dubious. BTW, according to the article on the Chrysler LA engine, the Viper V10 is a variant of the LA. Perhaps it should say that in the description of the engine, if it's true?.45Colt 05:56, 2 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Iron Block vs Aluminum Block
