Overall: @Victuallers The article was created on March 23 and nominated for DYK on March 29, which is in the seven-day period. It is long enough with 2954 characters (491 words) of readable prose size. The hooks are properly referenced. The article itself is neutral tone and no copyright violations or plagiarism has been found. The QPQ has been fullfilled. Below I point the two issues with the nomination.

The first issue is the use of social media (facebook and X) as references, which is not acceptable as its user-generated content. Reliable alternatives should be found or, if nothing is found, remove these statements. Second is that I don't find the hooks themselves to be interesting enough, as they appear to be nothing outside the ordinary activity of a judge. • Thanks for the review @NeoGaze:. I have removed X and Facebook however I understand that historically we have considered Facebook as an unreliable source.. and it is. However good sources do publish on Facebook - its not all "user-generated content". In several countries the leading media are using Facebook as their vehicle to publish news... as some trustworthy sources like the Malawi Judiciary. Mexico has been mentioned here for getting its news via Facebook and Malawi is another. Facebook pays media sources to supply its customers with news. See Free Basics for instance and Maravi Post. @Victuallers Thanks for the feedback. I searched on my own and I found better sources. The Facebook reference can be replaced with this source directly from the Malawi Judiciary. The X can be replaced with the newspaper's own website page. Once replaced, the sourcing issue can be considered fixed.

Now the issue of lack of interest is harder to fix. I'm going to propose a reformulation of Hook 2, as well as new hooks that I think will be more interesting to a general audience. I want your opinion on these. NeoGaze (talk) 18:50, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
