The History section says "'Rimau Offices and Accommodation'. It was possibly completed in late 1941" but doesn't explain the relationship between "Rimau"and "View Road". In fact the road that is now View Road was called Rimau when I lived at 4 Rimau between 1947 and 1950. Unfortunately I cannot provide any documentary evidence that the two names refer to the same road, and for that reason I haven't tried to edit the article, but someone else may be able to provide this. In 2018 I was in Singapore for a meeting, and mentioned in my lecture that I had lived as a child at 4 Rimau but I hadn't been able to find it on a map. A student in the audience told me afterwards that his grandfather had some old maps and could probably locate it. The next day he told me that it was now View Road, and a helpful taxi driver took me there: it was easily recognizable, as it turned out to be one of the least changed places in the whole country.
