"You're leaving yourself wide open..."

The sentence "Rosenbaum was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, into a Jewish family." is exactly the sort of statement Borge would have followed with a wisecrack. (Think about it.) I'd like my name to be in blue also (whimper) :) in the Wikipedia write up about Victor Borge. I was the operatic foil for yrs with Victor Borge. I graduated from the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts, Philadelphia,PA...won some awards, capped by being chosen as a winner of the Metropolitan Opera Auditions, albeit 1966....performed with New York City Opera, & symphonies. Language

The article says he married an American lady in 1933 and then later moved to America. It says he spoke no English when he came to America. Soooo...how did he speak to his American, presumably English-speaking, wife?
