For those who didn't know, Vico C, although born in NY, did a notable career when he was raised in Puerto Rico, which is why Puerto Rican belongs in the lead instead of American. Also, Elvis Crespo is the same way. Only he's called Puerto Rican while Vico is called American, which makes no sense. ~2026-64171-4 (talk) 21:43, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

Because an individual born in New York is an American who was raised in a neighborhood of San Juan, Puerto Rico cannot be considered a Puerto Rican citizen, and Puerto Ricans, on the other hand, have been American citizens since 1917 to the present day. ~2026-12420-22 (talk) 00:00, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
