Legends

Listing all the endorsers, and labeling them legends, is using Wikipedia to advertise Firth products. Is this an encyclopedia or a fanboy magazine?

I propose splitting the content about the manufacturing business into a separate article titled Vic Firth Company.

Currently, this article covers two distinct subjects: 1. Everett "Vic" Firth, the orchestral timpanist, educator, and BSO member (notable under WP:NBIO / WP:MUSICIAN). 2. Vic Firth Company, the drumstick and mallet manufacturing company founded in 1963 and later merged with Zildjian (notable under WP:NCORP).

Combining a biographical subject and a corporate entity in a single article creates confusion with infoboxes, categories, and article structure. Both subjects have sufficient independent coverage in reliable secondary sources to support standalone articles, following precedents like Leo Fender / Fender Musical Instruments Corporation.
