You also may want to look over the manual of style for guidance on maintaining an encyclopedic tone. And please note that county names such as Vexin do not take the definite article in English. Proposed merge of Draft:French Vexin into Vexin

- Why "French Vexin"? Is this to distinguish it from another Vexin? Also, English generally drops the definite article from French placenames: We refer to La Bourgogne as Burgundy, not The Burgundy. Eric talk 20:55, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
