Linguist list

[edit]

The Linguist List material is available by clicking on the code in the box to the right. It does not need to be under external links.

stub tag

[edit]

This is probably never going to be a very long article as there are only two inscriptions. I think it has all the elements of an article so I am removing the stub tag. Why clutter the place up with pointless tags? We could merge it with Vestini. However, someone thought it should be a distinct article and the practice is to have an article for the tribe and an article for the language. More will turn up no doubt but not that much more.Dave (talk) 11:51, 12 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

specifically

[edit]

I am not sure how the fact that Brugmann lists three words from given inscription but not others which are even more clearly differentiated from Latin (e.g., brat) makes them specifically Vestinian. There is no comment and the evidence is negative in nature, given the absence of the other words without comment. Can someone explain? μηδείς (talk) 04:19, 27 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
