Range image
[edit]I found the range image in the infobox to be unintelligible and deleted it. What indeed is the top of the range of a stringed instrument? This is not precise and depends on how long a fingerboard is installed in a particular instrument (or the player's ability to play difficult harmonics). Also, I couldn't make any sense of the "transposed range", which gives the very odd-looking note of C below the bass staff as the bottom note of the viola. If you can explain why I'm wrong please revert me edit (and maybe clarify the infobox).
The residue of the infobox after I removed the figure says very little and perhaps we could remove the whole thing. Opus33 (talk) 01:26, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
