Too Many US examples

[edit]

Anyone know how to add the template item "too many examples from one country" (paraphrase) because this article needs that; otherwise, reframe it as VI in US etc  Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.183.37.56 (talk) 14:13, 24 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

I believe that Real net output ratio - and its German counterpart, de:Fertigungstiefe - would be an excellent source to consult. MagicBilby (talk) 08:55, 29 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
I've significantly updated the page to make it less US-centric and expanded on European businesses, especially SME, as that's an area I have a lot of experience in.
There's some sections that made it laughable - for example, Carnegie Steel is *not* one of the earliest examples of vertical integration, having only been founded in 1892. And you can't talk about Standard Oil being a great example of 'vertical integration' without mentioning the subsequent antitrust law it established.
