Notability

[edit]

Like most large companies, there are a lot of press releases to sift through, but I was able to find substantial third-party news coverage of the company over a period of several years, covering issues ranging from its mergers with other companies (Mercom, Opus, Witness) to its delisting from NASDAQ due to a stock options scandal. This information needs to be incorporated into the article, but the subject does seem sufficiently notable to have an article. --RL0919 (talk) 01:43, 25 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Evidently those press releases omitted to mention the fact that the company's founder/former top exec has fled to Namibia to escape international warrants for his arrest on fraud charges. 166.147.104.152 (talk) 13:26, 10 June 2013 (UTC)NobodyReply

Security Force

[edit]

They also offer a security force that was present during the London Bombings and will soon be here in Canada during the 2010 Olympic Winter Gamess in Vancouver. There should be a page on this as well. 142.68.231.53 (talk) 00:58, 10 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

It's a software company that makes security products, but I'm not aware of any security "force". Do you have a reliable source for this information? --RL0919 (talk) 04:48, 10 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Edit request: Update company status from public to private

[edit]

I am an employee of Verint Systems and would like to request an update.

The company transitioned from a public to a private company on November 26, 2025.

Reliable sources that confirm this: https://www.reuters.com/en/thoma-bravo-buy-verint-2-billion-deal-software-acquisitions-ramp-up-2025-08-25/?utm_source=chatgpt.com

Proposed edit:
“In 2025, Verint was taken private following a acquisition by Calabrio, Inc."
Proposed edit #2: "Infobox fields to update: Type: (Public → Private) Traded as: (Remove VRNT / Nasdaq)"

Thank you! VivianneGomesCosta (talk) 19:24, 4 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
