Verified Audit Circulation is notable as an innovator in circulation auditing, being the first company that was founded and dedicated to auditing a new emerging category of publications--controlled (free) circulation newspapers and magazines.

More recently, Verified Audit expanded its services by offering a new category of circulation audit, the integrated audit report. FOLIO: magazine, the most influential magazine in publishing, found this new report type notable enough to do two separate articles about it. They also noted that a large competitor of Verified Audit Circulation had been unable to offer this service and had therefore lost a major client to Verified.

Though these facts were pointed out in the article, I think I erred in not making clear their notability, so I have revised the article with the intent of accomplishing this.

Verified has also been an innovator in devising delivery-verification services for publications and products delivered to the home, though I have not yet been able to procure a third-party reference attesting to this.

I will also devote more research into other forms of notability at Verified Audit Circulation and add this information to the article.
