Vavar is a distorted form of the name Babar. There is also another version saying it is avaru. anyway both can be added. 116.68.67.12 (talk) 23:38, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

This Babar is no way connected to Lord Ayyappn who is the Hindu God (Born for Shiva and Mogini). In the History of Lord Ayyapa it is mentioned 7 Hindu Gods are taking care of his devotees and his Sabarimala Region. They are
1. VABARAN who is in-charge of Erumeli first Fort (NOT BABAR or VABAR)
2. NANDIKESWARAN who is in-charge of Kalaikatti second Fort
3. Boothanatan who is in-charge of Udumparai third Fort
4. Bagavathy who is in-charge of Karimalai fourth Fort
5. Sabari Durgai who is in-charge of Sabari Peedam fifth Fort
6. Asthra Bairavar who is in-charge of Saramkutthi sixth Fort
7. Karuppasamy who is in-charge of Pathinettampadi seventh Fort
Really History is mislead by few self benifitters and names changed as per their wish ~2025-36818-45 (talk) 09:47, 28 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
