Requested move

The result of the move request was moved to Vat Phou. Terms appear approximately equal in Google hits when restricted to non-wiki English pages, so the official name should probably prevail. Oh, yeah, and nobody objected, either. :) --Aervanath (talk) 10:42, 8 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

This should be either Vat Phou in the Lao orthography used in the UNESCO listing and Laos itself. Wat Phu should be noted as an alternative spelling in the Thai-style orthography, but "Wat Phou" is neither fish nor fowl. Jpatokal (talk) 06:30, 3 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Redirect from Wat Phu

[edit]

There appears to be a problem with the redirect from Wat Phu - important as this is how a lot of people, including major guide books, spell it. Not sure how to fix it otherwise I'd do it myself.Mattun0211 (talk) 04:21, 7 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
