"es/ez" suffixes are NOT from Basque origin in ANY case

It comes purely from the genitive on Vulgar Latin, Didacus (Diogo, Diego, Dídac) > Didaci ([son] of Didacus) > Diaz ~ Dias ~ Diez ~ Dies. See http://www.amesanl.org/apelidos/apelidos08.html (Galician). It is the same for all others. In fact, such surnames are not present in the basque-language at all, since they are clearly perceived as Romance, and for constructions such as -of-my-father, Basque language prefers other suffixes (not Latin ones, obviously).

Who are the following

The following from the list seem to be either fictional or don't have a place in an encyclopedia, I suggest that if you add people to the list you make the article first.

• Anthony Vazquez, a Hispanic Cuban American Male in Miami, Fl who is currently educating himself with the law.
• Joey Vasquez, International DJ and producer world known for playin clubs around the world
• Luis Vasquez, Jr science teacher
• Salvador Vasquez, a Peruvian-born Swedish football midfielder
