I have created this article of "Varhadi Language" with a minimal information I had. Please add your inputs related to the Varhadi Language to enhance this article with proper information. User:Despardes7 20:58, 18 November, 2009

I've added more information as per my knowedge & observations.- Vasant

I appreciate your observation about the differences in Vocabulary and Grammar in Varhadi and how these words are influenced by Hindi. However I would suggest Varhadi be called a dialect of Marathi instead of a language. The language spoken in Vidarbha is Marathi with a very few changes in grammar and vocabulary. Considering the extent of Marathi vocabulary and grammar, these differences are less than 1% of it, to be called a separate language. Further, most of these words or grammatical dialects are used only by a particular class (usually uneducated or less educated class) in Vidarbha, for example "male" instead of "mala" and "tyahile" instead of "tyana". --Chansang (talk) 16:04, 25 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
