new article

[edit]

I've been following the vaping industry and the VTA in the news this year, and I feel a standalone article would be of interest to Wikipedia readers. This topic feels engaging and interesting as vaping is popular in the U.S. and the industry fights regulations, with the Trump administration being involved here as well. I also find the connections with China very interesting. I tried to keep the article as balanced as possible, including everything I could find that any reliable source has said about this subject.

This association has been the subject of significant coverage in multiple independent secondary sources, not merely routine mentions or material from the association itself. National reporting in Fox News, The Washington Examiner, and The Hill treats the group's lobbying membership and its role in U.S. vaping policy as the story.

There is already an existing approved Wikipedia article about this organization's counterpart in the United Kingdom, the UK Vaping Industry Association. I welcome input and help improving the article from the Wikipedia community. Thanks for reading! PacificPenman (talk) 18:22, 22 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
