This article should not be deleted. reference to a commercial entity has been removed. The article describes a methodology, similar to other maintenance management methodologies like PAS 55, TPM, SIx Sigma, LM and others, all of them with their own wiki-page.

the introduction mentioned a reference to commercial entity; this has been removed.

2012-11-20: "Poor maintenance is believed to be the cause of one of the biggest oil spills in history, causing massive damage to the environment." this statement is not based on facts, neither backed by USCG investigation and later arrest only targeting BP (Operator). Deepwater Horizon tragedy and resulting oil spill root causes are related to Drilling Program and Cementing Program changes not properly risk evaluated by Operator. Lack of true information from Operator pertaining to negative inflow test validation and intensity of the Blowout, lead to misunderstanding of feedback provided by the well. By then, when the Blowout Preventers (BOP) were activated, foreign solid material prevented sealing of the well-bore. All systems worked aboard the Deepwater Horizon, but delayed reaction of the crew, due to misinterpretation of well data and misleading Operator data, caused their inefficiency. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.185.214.4 (talk) 12:54, 20 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
