I am a boomerang sports enthusiast. Can the authors of this article provide reference to the specific section in Purananuru that discuss returning boomerang. To my knowledge, no civilization has independently reinvented the returning boomerang, this would therefore be a stunning revelation.

The oldest Australian boomerangs are about 12,000 years old. How could an iron implement have been invented before that? Hunter's Leesee (talk) 18:49, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
