Article title
[edit]According to WP:NCGN, toponyms in South Tyrol take the name of the local linguistic majority, if there is no common English name. I don't want to decide if there is a widely used English name for the valley, but these graphs show clearly that it's almost certainly not Gadertal. Since the population of the Gadertal/Val Badia is predominantly Ladin speaking, the correct article title is Val Badia. --Mai-Sachme (talk) 10:13, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
Valle Badia?
[edit]The Italian name is Val Badia, identical to the Ladin one. By the way, Italian was the culture language of this area well before Val Badia joined the Italian state, and his inhabitants were predominantly categorized as 'Italians' in the censuses conducted under the Austrian rule. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 167.9.5.11 (talk) 15:21, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
