Error fix
[edit]Fixed some strange errors which looked as if the page had been edited too often without proof-reading. The last paragraph is still not perfect (e.g. are the monuments a result of the riches earned by smuggling or was that just mentioned in passing? Was Cottessen _called_ the most beautiful nature area (by whomever) or was it official _named_ as such?) It should be reworked by someone from Vaals who knows a bit more (I'm from Aachen). Spanish Students

Is there ANY proof for this? I am living in Aachen and visit Vaals quite often, I never noticed any significant amount of spanisch students at all. I know: That is no proof either but as much as I hate the ominnipresent "citation needed" tag even for the most obvious statements - in this case I would like to see a citation myself.
