The abbreviation for versus is written on this page as "properly" v without any punctuation following. When I follow the links, the page it takes me to DOES have a following full stop ('period'). Anyone know which is correct?

Vide Supra

[edit]

Can Vide Supra go in here? 212.137.36.228 (talk) 07:29, 29 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Kinda, but not really. I added "v.s." to the Wiktionary link (top right) as this item is more for a dictionary use (rather than an encyclopedic use). +mt 10:24, 29 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

V. S. - Vereinigte Staaten

[edit]

I have never seen anyone using V. S. instead of USA (I am from Austria), if nobody else did I suggest removing or at least correcting (leaving Dutch) the link to the article of the USA. FDMS4 (talk) 00:18, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
