Improving the article

Extensive Wikification is needed. Do the Significant events, Homeport assignments, and Aircraft assignments sections. Lou Sander (talk) 17:31, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Either a mistake or time travel

[edit]

This article states that Patrol Squadron 50 was active between 18 July 1946 – 30 June 1992 but also lists in the Engagements section that it was in World War II.

Now as someone who has spent way too much of their life autistically obsessing over and researching the Second World War I could've sworn that it ended on September 2nd of 1945. And if my calculations are correct 18th of July 1946 is after the 2nd of September 1945.

This is either an error or an obscure Wikipedia page that probably hasn't been viewed since it was created has contained proof of the US military being capable of time travel since 2014. Could be either or, I'm gonna get an IBM 5100 just in case.
