Transition to F-35C

[edit]

@JET311 Per https://www.secnav.navy.mil/fmc/fmb/Documents/25pres/APN_BA1-4_Book.pdf (Page 52 or Volume 1 - 14), VFA-94 receives funding for support equipment. Page 55 or Volume 1 - 17 says that VFA-94 will have "First Aircraft Arrival" of the F-35C in 2025. Decooldude (talk) 00:50, 11 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

I am sorry, you are right. They just received modernized hornets but those will be sent off to Japan instead JET311 (talk) 20:35, 19 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
All good brother! Decooldude (talk) 00:27, 20 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
@ERcheck please see here. The budget does mention VFA-94 (CTRL-F "VFA 94 & VFA 115". Decooldude (talk) 22:44, 17 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Check this link out: https://x.com/CVW19752015/status/2076651771561152715?s=20 - It shows the USN/USMC transition plan till 2030's. Looks like its 136 then VFA94. JET311 (talk) 18:15, 13 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Godam, that's still ages away! Would that be a reliable enough source to add into the wiki article, I wonder? Decooldude (talk) 05:17, 15 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
