Væb → VÆBVÆB – I suggest changing the title to all capital letters since this is the most common way the band name is written. I have tried moving the page before and it got moved back immediately without discussion. When trying to edit the title on Wikidata I was told it can't be capitalised because that was a stylised version. When I used ABBA as an example of a band with all capitalised letters I was told that that was an acronym. Then I gave the example of iPhone as a stylised title and have yet to get a reply. As far as I know Wikipedia should show the title as it is most commonly used, doesn't matter if it is a stylistic choice or an acronym. Oppose ABBA is an acronym, so it makes sense to capitalize the whole word. The iPhone example seems really unrelated to me, as there is also iHeartRadio, and so go on. Væb is not an acronym, and neither is Rosé, who is credited on any music platform as ROSÉ. VÆB is a merely promotional stylisation. France3c0 (talk) 14:08, 3 March 2025 (UTC)

Oppose. There are many cases where an artist name is more commonly stylised differently, either in branding or within sources, but where the article title within Wikipedia conforms to WP:TITLE and WP:TITLEFORMAT. Some examples: Kiss (band) instead of "KISS", MF Doom instead of "MF DOOM", Pink (singer) instead of "P!nk". The main difference with ABBA is that this is an acronym of the singers' names, however even in your ABBA example, the article title is still "ABBA" and not "AꓭBA" as it is used consistently within branding. Will take as part of WT:GARC#Circle #44; my last review was around three times the size when I started and that took around two weeks, so this should take 4-5 days. I did have a flick-through while I was waiting for others to accept and a few issues stick out:

• I would expect an article about a band to have information about a) what sort of music they make (which is in the infobox unsourced) and b) their influences/inspirations, which is totally missing.--Launchballer 11:21, 5 June 2025 (UTC)

• There's a fair amount of detail in this section that doesn't appear in The Kinks or Ben&Ben, both FAs featuring siblings, and which I think is too much detail for the band article. I'd pare the first seven sentences (everything before "In 2015") down to "Hálfdán and Matthías were born in Kópavogur, Iceland, as two of six siblings.", move the bit about "Rioum Rioum" to its chronological place in the History section, and merge both this and History into one section per MOS:OVERSECTION.--Launchballer 16:58, 6 June 2025 (UTC)

• Væb was created in 2022 to post a comedy TikTok song, "Aron Can (Borðar kál)" lit. 'Aron Can eating cabbage', as a tribute to the eponymous artist, which got enough views that the duo decided to release it on Spotify. Not seeing where either source says that the song was a tribute to Can, and the source doesn't say 'views' but 'attention', which could mean anything.--Launchballer 20:54, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
• They made their debut in the recording industry with the studio album Væb tékk, released in September 2022. Their father is a choir director of the Rokkkór Íslands rock choir, which went on to record the 2022 single "Ríðum ríðum" together with Væb. With the remix of Ofboðslega frægur (2023), a collaboration with Ingi Bauer [is], they achieved their first commercial numbers, debuting inside the top 20 of the Tónlistinn. • Shortly after winning Söngvakeppnin in February 2025, Væb started semi-regularly posting comedic videos on their YouTube channel, including a Let's Play series of the video game Minecraft, gathering a cult following.
