Wikiproject Prisons

[edit]

If anyone is interested, I have proposed a new Wikiproject concerning prisons here.--Cdogsimmons (talk) 23:46, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Conspiracy theory

[edit]

It's all over the Internet that in the 1970s inmates of Draper Prison, or the "Gunnison Facility" of Utah State Prison, mounted an unsuccessful court case accusing the authorities of experimenting on them. Apparently they claimed that researchers from the University of Utah had made them hear voices by using something described as "Tesla waves". If this case actually happened, it ought to be possible to obtain the records of it. Might be useful as a footnote, since this seems to be a fairly popular claim among conspiracy theorists.
