Family "Pucciniaceae" is incorrect--or at least inconsistent (NEEDS FIXING by an expert)

[edit]

The family for Uromyces--listed here as "Pucciniaceae"--is incorrect, or at least inconsistent with other Wikipedia articles. Note that the Wikipedia article for Pucciniaceae says that its order is Pucciniales (vs. Uredinales, which is what it says the order is for Pucciniaceae in the Uromyces article).

I'm not an expert in the area of taxonomy for this group/these groups, but something is definitely wrong here.

The underlying problem is that the WikiTaxoBoxes (or whatever they're called) are independently editable and do not conform to a consistent taxonomic hierarchy.

At any rate, someone who knows what they're doing needs to fix this for this page--and/or at the very least put an asterisk by the inconsistent info & explain why it's inconsistent with other pages. (I realize that there may be some disagreement about taxonomic placement--but in this case, I'd bet a dime that it's just an oversight.)

Thanks!!

Aha... probably the issue is the currency of the ORDER name; see: http://tolweb.org/Pucciniales/51277 philiptdotcom (talk) 00:27, 20 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
