Pages for Other Champions

[edit]

Hello to whoever checks on this, ig:

It feels weird that only some of the cast has their own pages. I feel we either can do two things: make pages for each character listed in List of The Legend of Zelda characters, or have no pages for any of them. Link, Zelda, and Ganon(dorf) are fine I feel, but the others feel unnecessary. I'm not sure how to delete an article, so I'd like to propose to delete this, Sidon, and Purah.

Thank you! -Erin (PhoenixCaelestis) (talk) 14:33, 25 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Respectfully, that isn't how Wikipedia works. The Zelda characters who currently have articles have them because they clear WP:GNG through multiple reliable sources discussing them in significant detail. Daruk, Revali, and Mipha do not have these, while Urbosa, Sidon, and Purah do. - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 19:01, 25 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
It just feels weird to decide what is notable enough for an article and what isn't. There are articles on random villages in the Middle East with like 100 people, but not articles on secondary characters from a game that sold well over a million copies? It just feels weird to me. -Erin (PhoenixCaelestis) (talk) 18:27, 27 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Well notability is not inherited. Breath of the Wild being successful does not necessarily transfer to characters in t he game being successful. - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 18:43, 27 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
