Wrong number!

A picture caption read (with emphasis added):

  • This is a 20 mm diameter fuel pellet, note that the central temperature is very different for the different fuel solids, also for the different pellets it has the lowest centre line temperature, power density is 250 W per cubic meter and rim temperature of 200 °C

250 W/cubic meter is orders of magnitude too low: less than 2.5 W/square meter of pellet surface, with a temperature gradient > 1000 K/cm... No. I've removed this number, since it's better to leave out a quantity than to have one that is grossly wrong. The melting points given in the intro and the table are inconsistent. One says 3100C the other 3100K

Uranium-based chemical battery

I know I'm very late, but the talk page is about discussing improvements to an article, not for discussing the article's subject. If you are still interested in an answer you can try going to Wikipedia's science reference desk! That's the place where scientific questions can/should be asked.

@Cadmium The file File:ZrUthermalcond.png which you link here is not cited. The description of the file appears to refer to a different graph, File:Be7fromcosmicrays.png. I know it was a while ago, but do you possibly know the true origin of the data in the graph? Thanks.
