I would suggest to delete the whole Wikipedia article "Upper Abkhazia", because this naming was created my the Georgian government. After the re-occupation of Kodori gorge by Abkhazian forces, this area is re-integrated into Abkhazia. That's why, there's no connection between Georgia and "Upper Abkhazia" anymore.

Hoping for an answer, an admin could do this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattiabonasso (talkcontribs) 13:10, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Just because "Upper Abkhazia" no longer exists, doesn't mean the article should be deleted. This is now an article about a now obsolete geographical term, historically used to describe a part of Abkhazia. There is nothing wrong with that, we have many such articles on Wikipedia, like Bessarabia or Bukovina. sephia karta 13:43, 5 October 2008 (UTC) This article is insulting and a travesty to proper history, both ancient and modern, of Abkhazia. This is clearly created by a Georgian government tool. Please remove it! You don't see Abkhazians creating such disgusting pages for Georgian occupied territories that used to be owned by Abkhazia! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.14.236.185 (talk) 02:14, 28 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
