Update on Identification of UCM

[edit]

In updating the article on Dr. Christopher M. Reddy, I uncovered his invention of an application of GCxGC that can identify this. A brief description of this in the following, which was a speech explaining why Dr. Reddy was being awarded the GS C. C. Patterson Award in 2014. I am not a scientist, but this invention employing GCxGC is apparently groundbreaking & Dr. Reddy was awarded a patent for it: "High accuracy contamination estimation in hydrocarbon samples using GC×GC". patents.google.com. Google Patents. Retrieved 15 January 2025.
