Proposal to reverse change of name of this article

The move of this material from 'Unpowered aircraft' to 'Unpowered flight' was not announced and no reason was given on this page. Since the move the main change to the content, apparently to justify the move is a brief addition about some animals. The topic of flight by animals and aircraft without powered is covered in gliding flight. There is no information about the principles of unpowered flight which are already covered in Gliding flight. 'Unpowered flight' will now have to include a section on the buoyancy of balloons as well as the duplication of the principles of gliding flight. The change was unannounced, unilateral, misguided, messed up a useful classification of aircraft and should be reversed at least until there has been a proper discussion. I've taken out some of the stuff duplicated from Unpowered aircraft that isn't really appropriate here. This article still needs a major tidy-up (e.g. lede). DexDor (talk) 07:08, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
